Overall slag market was very healthy in 2011 in Finland, which was also visible in Ruukki's slag sales in 2011 in Finland. Demand for granulated blast furnace slag exceeded annual production. Liming market deliveries remained also at good level despite the poor liming weather conditions during last spring.
