The objectives of EUROSLAG
EUROSLAG deals with ferrous slag and the products manufactured from it at all levels, and supports its members in their activities: from research and production, through to application and marketing, right up to framework conditions and international exchange.
EUROSLAG aims to:
ensure the manufacture of slag products using the best possible processes, with appropriate quality control testing and inspection procedures, thereby guaranteeing the highest level of performance consistency
promote communication between slag producers, processors and users in different countries, and ensure that technical advances can be more easily understood and adopted across Europe
coordinate technical working groups, research and development for slag processing and utilisation
bring together representatives from the supply and utilisation sides of the industry to promote a better understanding of slag and its benefits
provide a coordinated approach to European standardisation
promote the image of slag and confidence in our members, in slag-containing products and manufacturing processes
