§ 1 Usage data

On every access of our website by a user and on every request for files provided via our website, usage data is saved in a protocol file. Every data record consists of

  • the website from which the file was requested,the file name,
  • date and time of the request,
  • the data throughput,
  • the status (file transferred, file not found etc.) and
  • a description of the type of operating system and of the type of browser used. 

The data will exclusively be stored in pseudonymized state and only be used for statistic purposes; it will never be passed on.

We transfer so-called Cookies to your computer for ease of use of our website. Cookies are small text files that allow identif ication of your computer. The do not interfere with your computers' operating system. You can block the use of Cookies; however, it is possible that certain functions of our website will become un- available. § 2 User-related data

Whenever our website offers the possibility to enter personal or business-related data (e-mail addresses, names, street addresses etc.), the disclosure of such data by the user happens on an expressly voluntary basis. You user-related data will only be passed on to third party if this is within the scope of a contract between us and the user. This also applies to data storage and data processing. Other uses of said data will only be conducted on your express consent.

Users of the website have the right to request free information about data stored in connection with their per- son. Additionally, the have the right to request the correction, barring or deletion of said data as granted by applicable law.

Your questions and proposals with regard to privacy are of great concern to us and very welcome.

 

§ 3 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer to allow analysis of your use of the website. The information created by the Cookie about your use of the website will in most cases be sent to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. In case of the activation of IP-anonymization, however, your IP address will be shortened within member states of the European Union or another contract state of Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only on rare occasions the full IP address will be transferred to a server of Google in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this data on behalf of the operator of this website to analyze your use of the website in order to create reports about the website activity and to provide further services related to the use of the website and the internet to the operator of the website. The IP address that is transferred by your browser in the course of the use of Google Analytics will not be matched with other data of Google.

 

You can prevent the storage of cookies by choosing appropriate settings in your browser software; however, we advise you that, in this case, certain features of the website may become unavailable.
